When I first became chief of clubs, there were over 7 thousand clubs. A vast majority were inactive with members who had not visited ct in well over 5 years at the time. We also requested a new tool be made specifically for clubs usage as no one had security tools and could not check to see last enter date for the chief of said club. Then we proceeded to delete over 6 thousand or more of them. It was an onerous job but well worth the effort as it sure did clean off the servers. The clubs were deleted with items in them still unfortunately. I like megans policy on this much better as we did lose many wonderful objects.
Also current club rules were formulated and implemented as they were much needed due to again the vast majority of folks who created clubs and left. The new clubs were proposed and sent in for approval just before I left as chief. Again thank the stars they were finally added with the contest that Megan held!!!

I seem to remember in may-june of 1998 that there were three colonies: Virtual Worlds is where I setled. Were Games and Sci-Fi the others? Is the order listed on this page chronological?

"Virt worlds was there in June of 1999 as was Sci Fi, Games, and I believe one other. Inner Realms came into the picture in August of that same year. Aug, 1999 and yep remember it cause I moved the asap :) If I'm not mistaken and heck might be due to old age and memory but there were five colonies for a while then a burst of growth with Cyberhood (following the morph wars) adventure which was an offshoot from IR, campus, then ninth dimension and Hi Tek." According to the history I gathered & posted (as Head Druid), Inner Realms opened in July 1999. My sources for IR history were Karyll, Akira, & others. The info I gathered is posted here: http://druidcouncil.formal-paths.com/IRHistory.htm Please tell me if what we have is incorrect. Thanks!

I made a template of this time line so you will now see it as a choice for a new page if you want to add it as a subpage for a topic.

You can add more rows in edit page mode by simply right clicking on table and choosing add rows. It adds a row to the start of the table however so you will have to shift any existing content up by cutting and pasting so if you you are adding multiple rows do it first and then shift content.

Hawk raised an interesting point that I had already been thinking of, where to place CL lists in each colony. I see three choices. 1. Include it in main thread. 2. separate page 3. Include it in a sort of vital stats page with start up date, list of major changes like name, list of CDs etc.

I personally like the third idea. It provides the history, yet leaves open the possibility of sub pages for additional detail and recollections.

I've started emailing questions. Hawk is often busy so I'm trying to limit it to requiring only 5 minutes or less per email to gather this story.
